What is the minimum age to join ROAR Active?
You can join ROAR from 14. 14 to 15 year olds can train only during staffed hours (no tag, so they're buzzed through the turnstile by staff) and must be actively supervised by an adult over 18 every time. From 16 you get your own tag.

You can join ROAR Active from age 14.
- 14 to 15: can train only during staffed hours, because they don't have an access tag and need to be buzzed through the turnstile by staff. They must be actively supervised by an adult aged 18 or over every time they train.
- 16 to 17: get their own access tag and can use the club any time.
- 18 and over: a standard adult membership.
How old does my supervising adult need to be? The supervising adult must be 18 or over. It can be a parent, guardian, older sibling or family friend.
Anyone under 18 needs a parent at sign-up to sign the guarantor form, even if someone else will be the supervising adult.
Some conditions apply for members under 18, including when they can access the club. The full youth age policy is in your terms and conditions. To set up the right membership for a younger member, speak to the team at your club.
